On 18 June 2025, Albania made a big step in its digital path with the event called “Harvesting Innovation – Boosting Albania’s Digital Leap.”
It was hosted by the EIT Community Hub Albania with EIT Digital. EIT Digital is one of the Knowledge and Innovation Communities (KICs) under the European Institute of Innovation and Technology (EIT).
The event took place at the Tirana Marriott. It brought together:
- Policymakers
- Entrepreneurs and startups
- Researchers and academics
- Innovation leaders
The aim: Show how Europe’s digital strategy can speed up Albania’s digital growth and tech economy.
EIT Digital in Europe and Albania
EIT Digital is a core part of the EIT network. It helps Europe change through digital tools. It focuses on:
