A training entitled “Access to Finance for Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises” was held at the premises of the Science and Technology Park of Montenegro, organized by the Center for Finance and CKB Bank, with the support of the EIT Community Hub Montenegro.
The training brought together representatives of small and medium-sized enterprises, entrepreneurs and all those interested in improving their knowledge about available sources of financing and opportunities to support business development.
During the program, participants had the opportunity to learn about financing opportunities through banking instruments and grant programs, ways to select appropriate sources of financing for their businesses, preparing quality applications for financial resources, as well as current national and international support programs intended for small and medium-sized enterprises.
Banking Instruments and EIT Funding Opportunities
CKB Bank’s credit offer for micro and small enterprises was presented by Jelena Lakićević, an expert in product development at Tribe. Vesna Rajković Raketić, Director of the Global Markets and Financial Services Department at CKB Bank, spoke about investment products and the possibilities of managing excess cash.
Nina Perunović, MSc EIT Community Hub Montenegro representative presented the available grant programs at the national and European level, with a special focus on the opportunities provided by the European Institute of Innovation and Technology (EIT). It was particularly emphasized that the Center for Finance is officially EIT Community Hub for Montenegro from January 2026, which further opens up opportunities for connecting domestic companies with European innovation and financial programs.
The training once again confirmed the importance of cooperation between the financial and innovation sectors in strengthening the competitiveness of small and medium-sized enterprises, through improving access to financial resources and providing information about available support instruments.
