Intro A Memorandum of Understanding was signed between EIT Community Hub Montenegro and Science-Technology Park in order to increase the presence of EIT in the Montenegrin innovation community
Director of the Science and Technology Park of Montenegro, Valentina Radulović, and EIT Community Officer, Branka Žižić, signed a Memorandum of Understanding on December 12, 2024. This document primarily establishes the implementation of regular EIT Open Days in the Science and Technology Park, intended for the dissemination of information and counselling related to the opportunities offered by the European Institute of Innovation and Technology to a wide range of users from the innovation ecosystem.
Bearing in mind that at the beginning of next year, tenants are expected to move into the Science and Technology Park of Montenegro, consulting on EIT opportunities and partnerships will be extremely important to the innovative teams and companies that have ambitions to enter the European market. The EIT Hub will also cooperate with the newly opened Office for Technology Transfer, which is an integral part of the STP, in the recognition of quality innovations and their promotion at the European level.
The EIT Hub in Montenegro was formed in January 2024, based at the University of Montenegro, and operating at the national level. It works to disseminate information and advise on the possibilities of cooperation with a strong and dynamic business and educational network such as the EIT.
