Making Innovation Happen in Albania!
The EIT Community Hub Albania joined Slush’D Tirana 2025 on 29–30 October in Tirana, strengthening its role in advancing innovation, deep-tech development, and European collaboration in the country.
As part of this major startup and technology event, on 29 October 2025, the EIT Community Hub Albania hosted the Investor Dinner, an official side-event of Slush’D Tirana, offering a unique platform for founders, investors, and ecosystem leaders to network, explore collaboration opportunities, and highlight emerging innovation potential in Albania. The event fostered important connections and strengthened investment linkages between Albania and international partners.
On 30 October, Ms. Françeska Korançe, in the role of the EIT Community Officer joined a key panel discussion alongside experts from ETH Zürich and pioneering deep-tech founders to explore how scientific breakthroughs become impactful ventures and how Albania can accelerate deep-tech development. The conversation emphasized the importance of supporting research-based entrepreneurship, facilitating tech transfer, and linking Albanian innovators to European innovation networks.
By engaging in Slush’D Tirana, the EIT Community Hub Albania continues to build bridges between Albania and Europe’s innovation ecosystem opening access to EIT programmes, entrepreneurship support, innovation pathways, and international networks.
