The EIT Community Hub Bulgaria participated in Spinoff Europe Conference 2026, which took place on 11–12 June at Tech Arena Hall, Technical University of Sofia. The conference brought together more than 400 innovators, entrepreneurs, researchers, startups, investors and ecosystem stakeholders from across Europe to discuss the future of innovation, technology transfer and entrepreneurship.
Visitors had the opportunity to meet representatives of the EIT Community Hub Bulgaria team at a dedicated information booth throughout both conference days and learn more about the wide range of programmes, funding opportunities, educational initiatives and innovation support services offered by the European Institute of Innovation and Technology (EIT) and its Knowledge and Innovation Communities (KICs).
As part of the official programme, Ina Stoyanova, EIT Community Officer for Bulgaria, delivered a keynote speech on 11 June at 15:30 EEST. The session provided an overview of current EIT KICs opportunities for startups, entrepreneurs, researchers, students and organisations, including open calls, acceleration programmes, education initiatives and pathways for international collaboration. Participants gained practical insights into how they can engage with the EIT ecosystem and benefit from one of Europe’s largest innovation networks.
Following the keynote, attendees were invited to continue the conversation at the EIT Community Hub Bulgaria booth, where they could receive personalised guidance on relevant programmes and discuss potential opportunities for collaboration, business growth and innovation development.
