The Ministry of Education, Science and Innovation of Montenegro has announced a Call to encourage participation of Montenegrin partners in the Framework Program for Research and Innovation – Horizon Europe in 2025.
Part 5 of the Call is related to supporting participation in the pillar III of Horizon Europe – “Innovative Europe”, among which is the accession to partnerships within the Knowledge and Innovation Communities of the European Institute of Innovation and Technology (EIT KICs).
The Ministry may cover costs of membership fee in the chosen EIT KIC, up to 80% of the invoiced costs and with a maximum amount of 8,000 € per application.
Eligible organisations need to have a seat in Montenegro and belong to organisation type which is acceptable for EIT KIC partnership.
The applicant needs to fill in the application form and provide copies of the expression of interest to the EIT KIC for becoming a partner, and a confirmation that the organisation was accepted for partnership in 2025. The required data also includes the date of start of the membership, duration of the membership and the membership fee.
Total amount earmarked for the part of the call related to Innovative Europe is worth 50,000 €. Apart from the participation in the EIT KICs, the Call also includes support to project proposal development under the calls of the European Innovation Council – EIC and European Innovation Ecosystems – EIE.
The Call is open until December 5th 2025, i.e. until the foreseen resources are exhausted.
