EIT Community Hub Bulgaria at Green Transition Forum 6.0

The EIT Community Hub Bulgaria participated in the Green Transition Forum 6.0 — one of the leading platforms in Southeast Europe dedicated to sustainability, innovation and economic transformation. The event brought together policymakers, businesses, researchers, investors and innovators to discuss Europe’s green and digital transition, competitiveness and sustainable growth.

As part of the exhibition area, the EIT Community Hub Bulgaria engaged with a wide range of stakeholders, including startups, SMEs, public institutions, researchers, students and aspiring entrepreneurs. Visitors had the opportunity to learn more about the European Institute of Innovation and Technology (EIT) and the opportunities available through its Knowledge and Innovation Communities (KICs), which support innovation, entrepreneurship, education and business development across Europe.

Throughout the forum, the EIT Community Hub Bulgaria team presented funding, training and networking opportunities available through the EIT Community. Particular interest was shown in programmes supporting startup creation and growth, innovation capacity building, skills development and international collaboration. Discussions with participants highlighted the increasing demand for practical support mechanisms that help organisations navigate sustainability challenges while remaining competitive and innovation-driven.

Green Transition Forum 6.0 also provided a valuable opportunity to strengthen connections with representatives of industry, academia, public authorities and civil society. These exchanges reinforced the importance of cross-sector collaboration in addressing complex sustainability challenges and accelerating the transition towards a more resilient and sustainable economy.

The participation of the EIT Community Hub Bulgaria contributed to raising awareness about the wide range of opportunities available through the EIT ecosystem and demonstrated the role of innovation and entrepreneurship in achieving Europe’s green transition objectives. The event further strengthened the visibility of EIT activities in Bulgaria and facilitated new contacts and potential collaborations that can contribute to future innovation projects and initiatives.

The EIT Community Bulgaria remains committed to supporting innovators, entrepreneurs and organisations across Bulgaria by connecting them with Europe-wide opportunities for learning, collaboration, business development and access to innovation ecosystems.

Green Transition Forum 6.0 once again demonstrated the growing momentum behind sustainability-driven innovation and highlighted the importance of bringing together diverse stakeholders to shape a more competitive, resilient and climate-neutral future.
